Amazing Minds Learning Centers 1 & 2
Our Mission
At Amazing Minds Learning Center, our mission is to provide high-quality early learning services that promote child development and growth. We strive to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and explore.
Outdoor Learning
At Amazing Minds preschool and child care, we include as much outside learning as possible including creating mud pies, digging in the sand, riding trikes, climbing, swinging, and learning to make friends throughout the day.
Daily Activities
We also bring the inside activities outside by providing dramatic play, art, sensory, Science, building, and problem solving to our outdoor space! We aim provide a variety of learning experiences on our amazing playground to meet the individual needs, development goals, and interests of each child.
Indoor Learning
We have indoor and outdoor classrooms at both of our schools to provide the children with smaller group learning activities to engage their interests. Our programs specialize in toddler & preschool care for children 6 weeks to 6 years old.
Dramatic Play & Sensory Art
We offer a large variety of themed dramatic play, as well as hands-on art experiences with different mediums and tools to enhance children's senses and imaginations. Ask us more about what we do to enhance your child's social-emotional development and learning!
Manipulative's & Building
Our indoor classrooms are filled with tons of possibilities to build with a small group of friends to create amazing structures from legos, magnetic manipulatives, and wooden blocks. We emphasize all types of developmental learning, and it is important to us to help your child reach their goals and help their little minds and hearts flourish!
Homemade meals and snacks with fresh fruits and vegetables
We serve a variety of homemade meals including street tacos, spaghetti, teriyaki chicken, soups, pancakes, muffins, and a diverse selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. We also include cooking, baking, and gardening into our curriculium to include the children in making the food they are eating!

We believe in fostering a warm and nurturing environment, where each child is valued and respected. Becky has a Bachelor's of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Development. All teachers and staff have at least an ORO step 4 in higher education and training!

Whether you need full-time care or part-time care, we have a program that works for you. We are usually flexible to contract as early as 6:30 am and as late as 4:30 pm if needed.

Welcome to our Infant and Toddler Program location!
Exciting Grand Re-opening!
In 2020, when Covid hit it affected the childcare community very hard, our family decided to downsize and we closed one of our schools, to focus on one childcare to keep everyone safe. During the last four years, we have continued running a successful program.
In Spring 2024, our family decided to re-open our second school. We are excited to announce we have re-opened our license. We just built a brand new playground and hired a baby teacher over the summer. We are ready to enroll infants and toddlers at this school!
Our two schools are only five houses away from each other. Amazing Minds on 212th has new older toddler openings as of August 2024. Our Free Preschool For All slots for 3 & 4-year-olds are full. But we have openings for kiddos who missed the deadlines for free preschool!
We accept private pay or ERDC, and if you are enrolled as a toddler your family can grandfather in next year to PFA if you are enrolled here before the next open enrollment. At Amazing Minds 2 on 214th, we are currently enrolling infants & toddlers! (We are also taking a small group of North Gresham students who take the bus to our school on 212th).

We understand that every family has different needs, and our program caters to early morning work schedules. Our families, typically start work by 7 am and back to the area to pick up by 4 pm. We contract our hours annually to the current need. We are usually flexible to contract as early as 6:30 am and as late as 4:30 pm if needed. We try to keep our day to as close to 10 hours as possible. Whether you need full-time or part-time child care, we have a program that works for you.

Preschool and School Age Rates (Amazing Minds 1)
We do accept North Gresham Students before school on a case-by-case basis, usually for older siblings in our program. Please call for any questions on school-age before and/or after-school rates. We gladly accept Private Pay, ERDC, TANIF's Jobs Program, and the City of Portland CCIP Vouchers!
Preschool Program and School Aged

Potty trained 3 Years to 6 years old:
- 2 full days a week is $800 a month.
- 3 full days a week is $1000 a month.
- 4 full days a week is $1200 a month.
- 5 full days a week is $1400 a month.
School-age children before/after school:
- Before or After school care is $500 a month.
- Before & After school care is $800 a month.
Multnomah County Preschool For All:
Applications for PFA slots are open at this time! Slots are still available for the 2024/2025 school year (turn in your application by Jan. 17th 2025)!
Applications for September 2025 will open up in the Spring of 2025! Your family must be a Multnomah County resident and 3 years old before Sept 2025.
All children enrolled with our program before Spring 2025 and who meet the PFA requirements will be offered slots before slots are open to the public in Sept!
